Hi, I'm Alison

I'm so pleased you have found me!

I'm a counsellor who really cares about you and finding out what your needs are. I want the very best for you and I will do my best to help you achieve this.

I am based in Blaydon in the North East of England, but I am insured to work with anyone worldwide.

 

I work online, which many people find very convenient as there is no travelling, no waiting around, and you get to choose your surroundings. Fitting therapy into your life more easily.

My Story

I came to this profession after receiving counselling myself and being inspired.

​

I saw the immense value and I wanted to be able to help others navigate challenging times and life changing events.

​

I therefore, undertook 3 years of higher education study and changed career from a Horticultural Lecturer to a Pluralistic Counsellor.

​

My interests and loves are my family, my Cockerpoo Belle, camping, the outdoors, reading, cooking and Pilates.

Oh and eating sweets!

I use a combination of approaches, from the Humanistic, Psychodynamic and Behaviouristic schools. I am also trained in Internal Family Systems and IFIO. I tailor each session to your needs and preferences.  I call my approach pluralistic.

Clinical Supervisor and I hold an IFS Level 1.

  • Diploma in Clinical Supervision.
